NTVstreams is a front page for Native American news and social media, in the manner of Techmeme. Every hour it reads the sources on the Sources page, groups the items that cover the same event, picks a lead, and writes a plain headline. The lead link goes to the outlet that reported it. The More line lists every other outlet covering it, and the Discussion line lists the social threads.
The grouping, ranking, and headlines are the work of an automated editor built on Claude. Nothing here is written by a person, and nothing here is the outlet's own headline unless it says so. Attribution stays on the source line. The River, at the right, is everything fetched in the last two days, newest first, so nothing is hidden by the editor's choices.
Culture & Sports leads the page. Film, music, sports, fashion, awards, and the people who make them run on that desk, which has the most room and its own ranking. News runs beside it: sovereignty, land, water, policy, courts, health, and language, kept to the stories that matter most to Indian Country.
Two regional desks sit under News. Choctaw follows the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, and the Jena Band of Choctaw Indians. Pacific Northwest Tribes follows the tribes of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and the Salish Sea. A story about those nations goes on its regional desk whatever its topic.
